Advetec is an environmental biotechnology company helping waste handlers unlock value from certain difficult to treat waste streams that are contaminated by organic materials. Our proprietary in-vessel aerobic process accelerates the breakdown of organics trapped within those waste streams, stabilising the material and preparing it for more productive onward use.

The Advetec XO system reduces waste mass by up to 50%, significantly lowering moisture, transport costs and disposal volumes if going to landfill or EfW plants. By removing the organic fraction, the remaining material becomes cleaner, lighter and more suitable for further processing, whether that’s recycling, chemical recovery or conversion into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).

Designed for industrial-scale operations, the XO system can process up to 10 tonnes of waste per day per unit, with scalable multi-machine configurations available for higher throughputs. The result is a compact, on-site solution that reduces reliance on landfill and energy-from-waste, while creating more resilient and sustainable waste management pathways.
